The Author

Originally from Kaukauna, WI, I made the move across state to attend college at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. After graduating in the Winter of 2010 with a BA in Secondary English Education, I spent a semester substitute teaching in Elk Mound, Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls. Balancing teaching remedial English 11 Summer School at North High School in Eau Claire and job interviews for the majority of the summer, I finally caught a break and landed my first teaching position at the end of July, 2011. With some last minute moving arrangements and little to no planning time, I hit the ground running in La Crosse, WI around the 15th of August 2011. That's where this story begins.
